The Baseball School Hitting Philosophy

At The Baseball School we have a definite approach to teaching hitting. We teach rotational hitting. We believe that each player will have his own style, but for success in their swing they should follow these guide lines.

• Balance, before, during and after the swing
• Controlled approach to the ball
• Hips before hands
• Contact off a firm front side before extension
• Strong follow through

We also believe in training consistently. This means to train your muscles with one consistence swing, every swing. Along with teaching each player the physical side of their swing our instructors also have an approach to the mental side of hitting. A number of different hitting approaches will be taught to each player to help him become a well-rounded hitter.

• Middle- Off Hitting (Opposite field hitting)
• Hitters Count Hitting
• Two Strike Hitting
• Hit and Run

At The Baseball School we want to further the success of every player that comes through our door. With the experience and knowledge of our staff we know that success is only one swing away.

The pitching instructors at TBS follow this philosophy: teach the core mechanics of the pitching delivery (without turning every pitcher into a robot) that allows each pitcher to repeat a consistent effortless yet powerful delivery, without any chance of injury. As the pitcher matures, proper arm care, conditioning and pitching strategy will become a valuable staple added to each lesson.

Please remember: All packages expire.  Please check to see when your package expires.  Lessons are not transferrable between family members.  All lessons must be paid in full at time of purchase.  Lessons will be forfeited without 24 hour notification.
